I've been abandoned
By all of those I trusted
All of them have fled

To my knees I fall
And beg you to listen to
This, my humble plea

Be my comforter
Hold me up with mighty hands
When I cannot stand

Gather up my tears
Wipe them away and hold me
Hold me close to you

Never let me go
I want to hear your heartbeat
Listen to you breathe

So from my knees I
Beg of you to listen to
This, my humble plea
