"Entrée = Humans"
The train's speed increased as they raced through the town. The human cargo
peered out of the small slits to see a barren, fire scorched land. Within a
few minutes the town was out of site and again they were in total darkness.
The passenger train was a large box car with bits of hay clumped about it
for bedding. The car was populated with 5 men, 7 women, and 19 children a
total of 32 almost lifeless bodies. There was one more passenger that was
not man, woman, or child. It was a small girl with the body of a seven year
old; trapped eternally in the body of a child, her eyes alone told the
story of her age. She had a tattered blue silk dress on, curly blonde hair
and ruby red lips with pearly white teeth that you saw when she snarled.
There was also something else that was odd about this girl, she was chained
to the interior of the boxcar; her sire had broken one of the five sacred
laws of vampires "If a vampire is created that is so young it can not fend
for itself the child shall be executed and the sire shall spend eternity
underground." It was almost like the other vampires were teasing her by
putting her in the "Food Car" as they so graciously called it. The little
girl stared out into the darkness, with the eyes of a cat, she saw several
people that had obviously been fattened up for the trip to the vampire
capital. Ever since the ascension of vampires to the top of the food chain
half dead humans were either shipped to worker pits or fat plump humans
were shipped to cities to serve as the vampires' favorite delicacy. The box
car screeched as the train pulled to a halt in front of the station.
Vampire guards rushed to open the doors and now it is a parting of ways for
our humans and our little vampire girl. For her she will next be chained to
the top of a building at sunrise and for our pale, weak, human friends they
will be shipped individually to dens that ordered them.
