----------
The morning glistens with dew,
But it'd be the day, for I knew,
The darkness would come,
Without a doubt,
The sunny day would turn down and out.
The clouds go grey,
The sun would pay.
The rain starts to fall,
While the black crows starts to call.
The mist lingers on through the trees,
The fog goes on, as far as anyone can see.
The wind chills the breeze,
As it knocks you to your knees.
The sun goes out,
There is darkness all around.
Fear settles in,
As the day turns to night,
You have no sight.
You hear the waves,
As it rants and raves,
Crashing on the shore,
The darkness might be over, for,
The light shines through,
You can see that patch of blue,
The wind dies down,
The fog lifts up and around.
The grey clouds part,
And they go way, way apart.
The breeze turns warm,
The grass lies all forlorn.
You stand up still,
While the sun shines on,
Now you know,
The darkness has gone.
