How Long

Surrounded by darkness,

Pushing and probing my weary body,

Always searching for a way inside,

Ever trying to darken my soul,

I try to stand against it,

But I don’t know how long,

I can hold out against this tide of evil,

How long until my will breaks,

How long until my soul shatters,

How long until this evil triumphs,

How long?
