West Coast

His little girl always loved the waves;

I don’t know if he cried that day.

Feel better with a shell in hand,

Photographs with tears and blanket sand.

It’s the West Coast every year for us,

The West Coast every year.

Enjoying sun of the summer’s day

All in all was a pretty nice day

For pilgrimage out along the pier.

Under parasol, we lay flowers here.

It’s the West Coast every year for them,

The West Coast every year.
