She knew it was wrong
to follow him home
To open his door
to let his hands roam.
And she felt ever so foolish
in baring her soul
Her body, her sanctuary
she let him eat her up whole.
Yet as she redressed, feeling
every sweet pain
She did not feel dirty, but
wanted him again.
And at that very instant,
she felt it was love.
She had found The One
'twas a gift from above
So she gathered her courage,
uttering the one fateful phrase
Of "I love you"
into his eyes, she gazed
Then, three words were whispered
Not of amour
He smiled, replying
"Death becomes you"
And she knew no more.
