Perchance to Dream

Mind works

Eyes creak

Endless night

Yet need to sleep

Fight to try

Occasionally

But know it

Wont let

You not let

You be

Start to feel tired

Go to bed

Then it hits you

Shakes its head

Oh insomnia

Please leave

Let me have

A slight reprieve

Tiredness kills

The advert states

Oh to close the

Eyelid gates

Slumber peaceful

Rested night

Hah a joke

It is indeed

This affliction's

Full of greed

So when at forty

I've no breath

Eye bags the size of

Shipping chests

Leave me do not

Complete tests

Leave me rest

In peace of

Death
