But if I tried hard just to smile
And you'd go on like before
It would only be of little while
When I'd crush the smiling law

Nothing hurts like the trouble not taken
When something's snatched away
And the thing you used to love the most
Can never seem to stay

You left the world feeling high and dry
Cold, sad, and alone
But think- did you even try
To learn who loved you most?

If I stand here on this broken ledge
And call out to let you know
That jumping's all that matters now
Would you come down to break the flow?
