I lost my thought

I really did! Last Friday night I was watching the stars And thinking I can't remember, but it was a delight!

It made a smile Come on my face It made me feel happy It made me feel great

It was funny, very funny Just like my favorite joke! I wanted to tell it to the world So, I cleared my throat

I opened my mouth And then I did shout The greatest thought I ever had I tried to But I couldn't remember And that made me mad

I stomped and I screamed I cried and I yelled But then I remembered I knew it very well

And that's that I know you, And you're just so swell!
