(I suck at poetry, even non-poetry, but I had to)

I was bored and had just heard about my once best friend getting expelled from school.
He used to be a writer, and a damn good one at that, And even though we never talked anymore, I know I'll miss him....

I already do.

What do I do without you?
How can this be true,
How can you be gone?

After so long,
after so much,
Can you just leave?

It's not right,
It can't be,
But here I am,
And I deal with your absence.

Harsh
is the world,
and it's ways.

Alone I am again,
Heartbroken.
I don't know if you
realize what you meant to me,
Or that I remember
All.

Happiness was being with you
On those warm summer days,
And even in the cold.

Together for always,
And friends for always.
I can't explain how I miss you,
But, you wouldn't understand
anyways...
