Like the Lone Star

Yet again, I am left alone
With only my bear as assistance
My love has left me in the struggle
Parents fight, therefore ignoring me
The people I loved hate me now
No one was willing to beat the challenge
Most, well all, just gave into it
I look out my window
For hopes that out there means freedom
Yet all I see are the stars caged as well
Consumed by the blackened tomb
My thoughts are with me still
But they are my problem
The main reason I have been alone
A single star twinkles
I hold my teddy bear closer
For I know I shall stay alone
Caged like the last twinkling star
