Cornered, silently screaming for help,

Catch a stranger’s eye with a plea for mercy,

Got to run, got to get away,

But I can’t leave, can’t abandon my friends,

Catch their eyes; share a secret smile,

We’ll escape together the torture placed upon us,

Unwilling victims cornered in a busy street,

No-one to help us, no-one willing to take our place,

Alone in unknowing torture,

We’ll laugh together later,

Talk of what we were told,

When we are safe, far, far away,

"WitchCraft is evil!"

"I cast out the Devil!"

"Let me pray for you!"

Scary Christians ‘exorcising’ us,

We don’t feel any different,

I’ll use my ‘God-given free will’

But I won’t go to church like you said I would,

WitchCraft is my chosen path!

I’ll use my free will to continue practising, thanks!

A/N: Me and my two friends were cornered by Christians while we were shopping today. Yes they ‘exorcised’ us and prayed for us. And no, we don’t feel any different. But I haven’t laughed so much for a long, time.
