Blood Stained Knife
She took the knife in her hand and pressed the tip against her beating heart,
Slowly she applied the pressure needed to go through her skin and into her heart,
In walked a man and saw what she was doing,
"Don't!" he yelled as she withdrew the bloody knife from her heart.
"I warned him," she sobbed as she lay in the mans arms, dying "I warned him."
"I know." He spoke softly, while gently stroking her long blond hair.
"I'm sorry," she apologised as she took one last breath and closed her eyes, "I'm sorry."
"I know," she heard him say, "I know."
"I never meant to.." With that she shuddered once and was gone.
