In 885 a secret order was formed in Manchester England and over the years it would expand so that now the Talisman have offices in London, Paris, Rome, Los Angeles and Sydney. Records which date back to the very beginnings of the order show members have included witches, sorcerers, mediums and seers of spirits. More recently academics have been added to our ranks such as those who can speak Latin, Greek, Ancient Egyptian, Ancient Greek and even Ancient Sumerian. However the core of our members are still made up of those who have The Gift.

Perhaps you don't yet remember when you first showed signs of having The Gift, perhaps you have never shown signs since, but the Talisman knows. Through official or unofficial channels we are alerted whenever someone new shows any signs of having The Gift and a file is then started on them until we feel they are ready to be approached and asked to join.

Our aim is, to put it simply, to collect data on paranormal experiences and maintain records for the study of such phenomena.
