The sands of time are shifted.
I am lost amongst the sand.
I am turned upside-down, inside-out,
Dripping grain by grain into your hands.
I have faith that you will catch me
As time pulls me down into your soul,
But the hourglass shatters
And as the shards fly, I realize that time indeed takes its toll.
