'Hmmm. Is this the place?' Luci thought as she poked the computer screen on her wrist band and then looked up at the apartment door before her.

It was appt. 138N of Saints Bed Apartment Building. The cross shaped apartment complex that sits in the middle of Los Angeles.

'Satan! The creep went to a place like this just to bother me.' Luci thought, 'Oh well, at least he isn't in the Holy country.' she rubbed her arm to try and get rid of the goose bumps rising on it. Just the mention of Israel, Saints or anything Godly makes her skin crawl.

*Sigh* 'Let's see if he's home.'

~*Knock-Knock*~

'Gahh. who could that be? Joe isn't supposed to be back 'til late and I never get visitors.' thought Avidan as the banging on the door awoke him from his afternoon nap. He rose slowly and shuffled over to the door, straightening out his clothes as he went. When he got to the door he looked through the peep hole. "Yaoh!" he cried in pleasant surprise, his nose nearly bleeding. Luci was standing so close to the door that all he got was a close up of her boobs when he looked out. He quickly unlocked the door and opened it to his next surprise.

"Hello. and what can I do for.. you.?! What the Hell are you?!"

"Well actually, I'm-" *Slam* Avidan slammed the door in her face. 'Damn, that wasn't Japhuu.' She thought.

Inside he was trying to stop his heart from jumping from his chest. 'What is she?' he thought. 'She had horns. and fangs. and a tail. and where those wings?! What kinda thing is she?!'

"Good going." said Pandora, fluttering down from the railing on the floor above.

"Yeah yeah, go through that window and I need a Lullaby." "Coming right up."

~

"Thanks bunches." said Luci as Pandora unlocked the door and let her in. Avidan was passed out in an awkward position on the kitchen floor in front of the open fridge. "Don't you think we should put him in his room." Pandora said as Luci started getting comfy on the couch, pointing at Dan. Luci just shrugged, got up, and dragged Dan by his ankles for the kitchen into the bedroom. She reappeared and then flopped down onto the couch again, looking around the apartment.

"Damn. this place is so primitive!"

"Well duh! It's only 2019." Pandora said, matter-of-factly as she landed on the opposite armrest that Luci's head wasn't on. "So. what's the plan?"

"We wait here and kill'im when he comes home."

"That's it?"

"Yup."

"That's your whole elaborate plan? Kill him?"

"It's what we came to do."

"But.,"

"What?!"

"Never mind, Satan knew what he was thinking when he sent you. You are his favorite."

"That's right. Now play me something, I wanna sleep."

"Very well, your favorite, correct?"

"'Course."

~

It was nearly midnight when Luci's sensitive ears picked up the sound of keys in the door. She rolled over and kicked Pandora off the end of the couch and said, "He's home."

~

"What the Fu.!" *Wham* Luci knocked "Joe" down the stairs with a flying kick as he opened the door.

"Miss me?" Luci said, crouched on the railing above him, her switch blades extended from the bracers on her arms.

"Awww., it's Satan's little pet. Has he not been keeping you well, your coat looks a little oily." "Joe" sneered, brushing himself off from a fall that would have killed any man.

"Silence Japhuu, your head is mine, now take off the disguise and fight me!" She demanded and she dived down, wings drawn back for speed, blades forward, ready to run him through.

"Heh." he exhaled, transforming back into his true form, a DracoSapien, and easily dodging her.

"Damn!" she cursed. She had forgotten how fast he could be. She smashed into the landing and nearly got her head taken off by his tail as she tried to free her dagger-like blades from the floorboards they were caught in. He simply snickered at her and leaped through the stained glass window of St. Mark.

"Come back here!" she hollered, jumping out of the broken window after him. All she saw was his fleeting shadow disappearing over the rim of the roof. She pumped her wings to catch up to him.

"Come now, are you already out of breath?" Japhuu said shaking his head as he sat cross legged in the air, his wings flapping lazily behind him, holding him up effortlessly.
