Moon Healing

Executing the nights mournful bride
You decline the clouds’ seductive haven
Braving the war, the breathing darkness
The dying sensation of dawn
The light you cry, is the heart to the broken
Your promise, a saving; comfort to the lone
So many quivering lips, distract as you breach a tomorrow
Beneath a pale river, realities speak to reality
Pessimists are humbled, as you render beauty to the stars
Optimists awaken, when they blink and you’re gone

Enchanting the suns death
You are proof that lifes a miracle
Evidence to the cure of blindness
Everyday, someone is resuscitated in your reflection
And leans on the everything you are
Relying on your perfection to get them through

Prove to them one more time…

ive always wanted to do a poem about the moon,
purely because i love it so much - i dont think poetry
could ever do the it justice, some things words just cant
describe, but you can always try ;).
hope you enjoyed
