Summoning the Storm

I call upon a mighty storm.
I call upon the rain.
Bring the waters down on me,
and free me from my pain.
Let the heavens darken,
and the clouds shut out the light.
Let shadows grow around us
as the sun fades out of sight.
May lightning split the massive sky
and raindrops fiercly blast,
and many days and nights go by
before the storm is past.
