Wandering,

Eternity,

Lost.

Dreams on dead nights,

of dungeons fading into eternal myth.

Unable to awaken, bound forever.

Searching, across decaying emerald spikes at ruby petals.

The mystery still uncovered, the beauty still unkind, the decades of unageing.

And yet,

I find my body,

lying at the nothingness against a twilight lake.

A hollow hole.

A flickering candle, slipping away in my hand.

And all these soft shadows shift into darkness.

Left alone.

Left to crawl in through endless ways, and endless paths.

Like the shrivel bitterness of the clawing at a child’s mind,

Ripping and clawing.  Tearing away the very essence.

Found, and lost,

all in the same night.

No time, nor space.

The lost sunset on the foggy mountain.

Unable to reach it’s destination.

And me, sleeping in,

Where the small bud was lost,

in the forgotten garden.

Dancing crystals on shimmering ice,

A garden of glassy fragments,

Unknown to man.

Tales to be told....

Remember then,

The mists

walking across murky swamps?

Legend is like a lost child wandering in a forbidden labyrinth.
