Dearest Stranger

Dearest stranger, whoever you are,

This note comes from a stranger

And it comes from afar.

You may not listen and you may not care,

I understand this,

But I’d like to share.

Romance and drama and what I am missing,

I know you don’t care

About who I’ve been kissing.

I know, dearest stranger, that you don’t care who’s hot

And I know you don’t care

About the grades that I’ve got.

Yet you’ve read this poem of mine

And you noticed the way

I decided to rhyme.

Thanks, dearest stranger, for listening to me

I’m done rambling,

So blessed be.
