Konnichiwa people!
If there are many spelling mistakes in this story, please say where, so I can correct them. I'm only 14 years old and my first language isn't English, so the possibility is big. But I'm really trying my best to make as less mistakes as possible.
PrologueA little girl was running trough the woods, her fiery red hair flying trough the air. She was giggling happily, and looked back at a black and white dog of an unknown species. Her eyes were big and light green, and a few freckles surrounded her nose.
All of sudden she looked forward as she heard the sound of the sea. She stopped immediately. In front of her, on the edge of the cliff, was a man sitting and staring at the sea. If it even was a man. On both his cheeks were two, black lines, who crossed eachother. Beneath both his eyes was a black triangle. His hair was blue and pulled together in a high ponytail. He wore a cloak.
The little girl came closer to have a better view. Suddenly the man turned his head and looked straight at her with his light grey eyes. The girl saw a sea-blue gem, shaped as a raindrop. But she didn't back off at the sight. She even came closer.
"Are you alone?" she asked with a high, childish voice.
'What does she mean? Alone in the way of having no friends or alone in the way of sitting alone?' the man thought. "Yes..."
"Let me accompany you." The girl smiled, and sat next to him on her knees. She plucked the narcissus that stood next to her and laid it on the man's lap. "My name is Sorcha. What's yours?"
The man lopsided his head slightly. Didn't she know what he was? "Cebraïl..."
All of sudden the dog made himself comfortable on Cebraïl's lap, which startled him, until he saw it was a dog.
Sorcha smiled sweetly. "This is Hisië. He's my bestest friend in the world."
Cebraïl looked at the dog, patted the animal on the head and looked up, when he suddenly saw a blue sparkle. It came from the girl in front of him. On her chest, almost totally hidden under her clothes, was a sparkling light blue gem.
They both stretched their hands out at the same moment, the man to touch the gem on the girl's chest, the girl to touch the raindrop on the man's forehead. They both touched eachother at the same time.
Suddenly a force closed their eyes, and from both gems a beam of light appeared. They connected, separated, and at that same moment the two persons were connected for life. For a split second they became one, to separate again. They now knew everything from eachother.

"On this side, we have Tori Ryan, known for his incredible powers that originate from his own body. His element is thunder, which will give him an advantage in the battle of today."
"You're right, Chiba. The person who is in disadvantage, the person from the other side, is Sorcha McPhee. She is known for her powers with cards, her speed and her martial arts. Her element is water, so she'll need a miracle to win."
"Don't judge too fast, Kitty, everything can happen in these battles."
"You're right again, Chiba."
A 15 year old Sorcha stood on her side of the stadium. Her red hair was just as long as always, and she was wearing a comfortable black T-shirt and white pants. Over it was a knee-length jacket with short sleeves. Next to her stood, like always, Cebraïl, her best and only friend in the world.
"Would both participants take their places?"
Sorcha and Tori both took a few steps forward. The public was watching, yelling, full excitement. To impress Sorcha, Tori let a small Thunder attack loose at the ground. A hole was the only thing that was left. Sorcha's eyes widened slightly. He was powerful.
"The first round of this tournament is about to start. Everything is allowed, as long as you won't harm the public. In the first rounds there is only one round. Let the battle begin!"
Tori let loose a full-power thunder attack at Sorcha, but she was already gone when it hit the ground. Rocks and earth flew around. The girl charged full speed at the boy, who didn't see her because she was so fast. She made a punch at his face when she was in front of him, but he managed to block that one.
Sorcha crouched low and kicked Tori's feet from under his body, so he fell on his back. Then she bent over him.
All of sudden she found herself flying trough the air and landing on her back painfully. Tori had given her a hard kick so she went flying. She stood on her feet immediately, regarding the pain.
Tori was aiming different attacks at Sorcha, the only thing she could do was trying to dodge them.
'He won't let me attack. What now?' she thought, still dodging the attacks. Then she got an idea. She got a card out of the pocket of her jacket. 'Angel with two sides...'
Sorcha threw the card in the air and murmured something. All of sudden a circle of half black, half white angels was flying around Tori with great speed. Tori was looking confused from one side to another, not paying attention to Sorcha, who charged at him again. She unsheathed her Japanese sword and hit Tori on the head with it's handle. The boy fell on the ground unconsciously and the angels returned to their card again.
"And Sorcha McPhee won!!! What a miracle!!! She goes to the next round!!!"
The pain in her back stung with every step she took to Cebraïl, but she managed to smile and wave at the public. Once she came in her changing-room, where she would stay for the whole tournament, Cebraïl spoke up.
"You can stop acting now. I know your back hurts."
Sorcha fell on her knees and sighed. "Would you please look at my back, Cebraïl?"
He pulled up her shirt a bit so he could see her back. The straps of her white bra were clearly visible. But they had close relationship with eachother, and both didn't pay attention to it.
The girl shuddered when Cebraïl touched her back with his cold hands. After a while he pulled back again. "You broke a few ribs. I'll have to cure you if you want to participate any further."
"Noooo." Sorcha moaned and grimaced. Cebraïl's way of curing people was so painful.
"You want to participate or not?"
"Of course I want to! Go ahead!"
Cebraïl laid his hand on her back again, and closed his eyes. A blue aura radiated from his hand. After a few seconds he pulled his hand back.
"Now go lie down."
"But I want to see the other matches!"
"You know your bones won't heal well when you walk around." Cebraïl wasn't overprotective, he knew that Sorcha didn't like that, but when she was hurt he didn't pay attention to her protesting.
Sorcha sighed sadly. "I know."
"And I know you want to check out the other participants. I'll go in your place." Cebraïl smiled.
"Thanks, Cebraïl." She lay down and watched him walk out.

"Ha! I'm finally finished!"
"Are you serious, Dr.?"
"Hai *. The project is done."
"Perfect..."
* Hai is Japanese for yes.
Did you people like it? I hope you did. And I hope my idea is a bit original, cause it was hard to find something.
