Title: Do they care anymore?

Author: AnnaSun

Rating: PG

We used to be happy,

until a day came,

when we all found out,

we would never be the same.

We were all stood eating,

when the farmer came and said,

foot and mouth has arisen,

we would all be shortly dead.

There was nothing we could do,

but watch and wait,

to see our friends,

in heaps of piled bait.

My friends the lambs,

and the pig at twenty four,

were thrown on the pile,

now they are No-more.

The food chain had declined,

as carcasses lay roasted,

the ass and the donkey,

popped up and toasted.

My mouth started to rot,

my legs went astray,

I lay on the pile,

amongst the bloody hay.
