Wake up Sleeping Beauty
The time has come
To stop replaying
Your movie past
On those silver screened lids
A young prince is waiting
He doesn't know
Or care about
The world that was
He sees only the world
That wants to be
The one that dances
To the tune of your laughter
Stop living in
The looking glass world
And enter reality
Where non-magic mirrors
Show the beauty
That lies behind
Your imaginary mask
It is easy to disappear
In a sea of doubts
But now is the time
To grow legs
Venture on to land
And find your voice
Show the world
Beauty can survive
The beasts of long ago
You've slain the dragon
Now claim your prize
Take a magic carpet ride
Forget the genie
You can make your own
Wishes come true
Glass slippers or ruby
Put them on
And dance your way home
Wake up Sleeping Beauty
Open your eyes
And breathe the love
That waits for you.
