Golden Ballerina
The air is so fresh and crisp
Outside those congested walls
Sideways light on ruby trees
As the Golden Dancer falls
Across the way, a child plays
The mountain on leaves give into his leap, and
When he emerges, he wears on his face,
A grin, yet I start to weep
"Never have I seen such joy on a person's face,
Never have I heard such bells
And never have I imagined what it would be like.
To jump in the leaves one last time.
To laugh so it rings in the air.
To dance with the Golden Ballerina."
To remember all those years I spent
Dancing and laughing away.
If only for 3one more day.
