We go throughout our education like waves on the ocean,

Starting out low and humble, then slowly rising in status,

Until reaching the peak, and then;

We crash down into the depths again.

This cycle is repeated over and over.

Elementary and Middle School;

High School and College.

Some of us will eventually reach the shore,

What's in store then?

Some will back into the sea, wishing they'd never left the water.

Some will get stuck in tide pools, never gaining any status.

And then some will reach the top, soaring in the wind.

Are you going to ride the wave?

Or are you going to jump off?
