Wallflower

I’m sitting here, being ignored

Perhaps that’s why I look so bored

I should to say something, but I know I won’t

When everyone else wants to talk, I certainly don’t

An introvert, that’s what they call me

And I guess that’s what I’ll always be

You all comment that I am so bizarre

Yes, I can hear you and I know who you are

You may believe just because I don’t have much to say

That it is okay to treat me this way

At times I may seem mindless or even slow

But I am much smarter than you’ll ever know
