Lost in the Darkness

Looking around
unable to see
my empty heart
you left for me.
Lost in the darkness,
I have no voice.
Trying to scream,
I have no choice.
Trying to find my way,
into the light.
Falling to pieces,
unable to win this fight.
Walking through the darkness
filled with mist from the rain
running through the darkness now
filled with pain.
Lost in the darkness,
I have no sight.
Trying to escape
I have no right.
Lost in the darkness
helpless, alone.
Now I realize,
everyone's gone.
I have no voice
I have no choice
I have no sight
I have no right.
But I do have
one last light
worth the fight.
HOPE; to win this fight.

I can't remember exactly what inspired me to write this poem, I think Iwas
just going through my always lonely depressive days, not sure. Hmmm, this
is nice, right now I'm listening to the radio as I write this note to post
it here, and they put the one song that I love and describes me in a way,
"Fallen" by Sarah McLachlan. Well, I hope you like the poem, please review,
and whoever hasn't heard that song, should listen to it right now.
