In life, everyone has a place where they can go. For some, the place actually exists, for some, the place is merely a physical stimulant, and for others, that place can only be found within the deep recesses of their minds. For Lyle, it didn't really matter anymore where his place was. It could be anywhere, like now, where all three kinds were offered to this one situation.

He tilted his head back, the artificial breeze caused by the colonies generators catching his hair in their wake, and would have caught the last few golden rays of the sun, had there been one left. But no, it had long since died out, taking Earth, and most of the solar systems with it. Now people lived in these horrable, decaying places, last remnants of humanity all but dead, replaced by chaos.

Gangs of cyber punks roamed the streets after dark, destroying what was left to destroy, claiming territory, starting wars, killing people, most of them at least half cyborg. Although, the complete concept behind them claiming territory was completely absurd. Everything belong to the government.

Lyle opened his eyes at the thought, and looked down. They owned everything... But everything wasn't much. Pale, gray-blue eyes surveyed the city. It was a disgusting place, and just the thought of it made Lyle feel dirty, tainted. That he should have to live in such a place... That anyone should have to live in such a place... It was a fate worse than death.

But that didn't matter, now. Lyle took one last look at the generators behind him. They wirred and buzzed behind him, their unhumanlike noises having already driven him insane. Insane, and to the edge, which was where he stood now. Every generator existed on a heavily gaurded tower, in order to keep them safe from terrorist. Their only problem, was that their heavy guard was only machines, incapable of compromising situations beyong standard.

Lyle had infiltrated their system, scaled their tower, and set explosives in their generators, which would soon destroy the generator, and if he was lucky, take him with it.

The generators were this colony's only source

((Aaaand... Cut. o.O; Yup, me tryin' to do sci-fi... ^^; My only other kinda sorta attempt at that would have been the Prophecy one, but uh... :) That would have been fantasy-sci-fi... o.o; Though, come to think of it... x.X; This one would have too... --;))
