A fuzzy friend I will not forget

The lasting memory of a loving pet

With golden fur and golden eyes

A slender body, small in size

I became angry when they took you away

Unaware that you’d be mine someday

A tiny house on the porch out back

Lovingly dubbed “Ronald’s Love Shack”

Of course, all good things must come to an end

But it seemed like it ended before it could begin

Under a tree, we lay you to rest
