The child of the North
Cold and forbidding
Her ice white hands
Control the blow of her winds.
One step she goes forth
Further and so ridding
Herself of the sands
Slices with her sharp fins.
The child of the North
Warm and inviting
His fiery red hands
Welcome the love of others.
Does not step forth
But lets the light in
Makes no demands
Then soothes many lovers.
