Unforetold Destinies
"Oh my god! I'm late!" Autumn yelled as she ran down the pale gray side walk that borderlines the park as her long, shoulder length brown hair flies violently in the wind while her long, lilac colored bangs flew back as violently as the rest of her hair. The 17 year old girl tried desperately to keep from tripping in her knee high, raspberry, rose pink and white colored, leather boots as she continued her furiously hurried pace down the side walk as she muttered angrily about the regrets she had from stopping to watch the extremely cute and yet untaken young man from her school that conveniently just lived down the block.
"Oh man. Mom’s going to kill me!" she said, biting her bottom lip as she hastily turned down another path that led further into the now heavily shaded park as the afternoon sun slowly began its descent down towards the west as the faintest glow of a sunset began to form. Her pinkish eyes looked around for the next path to take as she sped along in her short lilac and raspberry colored, pleated school skirt when she stopped, quickly turning to the left as the once grayish white cobble stoned park walk way turned into a dusty dirt road. She continued to run frantically as her magenta and white fitted coat swayed with her every quick movement while her tight, clear plastic and rose top stayed formed to her nice, thin structure. She soon began to tire as her pink and white colored; thigh high socks began to aggravate her, them beginning to loosen up as she slowly began her descent in speed. She came to a full and final stop a couple of feet away from her descention spot when she began to pull up her socks angrily.
"Damn things," she cursed before she finished hiking them up and then moved her small fragile hands up to her red and silver, studded belt, it having a small yellow star belt buckle on it with a small circular rose pink background. She sighed angrily as she quickly looked herself over and made sure that everything was in place and was arranged properly before she decided to continue on. She sighed and began walking hastily as she could feel the pain of a cramp coming on when she heard the distinct sound of metal hitting up against something. Curiously she followed the sound until she came upon another teen boy in the forest. She watched him awestruck, feeling a deep sense of love as she looked over his handsome and finely featured body. She giggled softly and blushed as she continued to watch the stranger with the sword. She knew that he was from her school because of the slate gray JS symbol on his loose black jacket, that meaning that he too attends the typical teen high school, Jameson Stone Memorial. She sighed softly as she watched his rugged handsome form move swiftly back and forth while attacking the protective metal coating on the tree from many different angles. Even with all the boy hunting that she did she couldn't have imagined such a fine specimen as him. From the fine look of his clothing, the teal and navy baggy, button up shirt, long, loose tannish colored shorts and large white socks with black and red tennis shoes, he looked as though he was very laid back and suttle but yet the look of sheer determination on his face made him look more of the rough and edgy sort. She giggled once more as she eyed him over again, slowly admiring his yellowy green eyes and light brownish hair when she heard a noise from behind her. She gulped slightly, wondering if it was an angry girlfriend behind her when she turned around slowly to see three ninja's dressed in all black. She continued to look at them in curiosity and raised and eyebrow slightly when they drew up ninja death stars and slightly at her. She gulped again and screamed, running out of the bushes and over to the guy, quickly hiding behind him. The guy looking highly confused and bewildered looked from the crazy girl clutching to his back to the poorly dressed ninjas that soon came out of the brush behind her. He gave them a curious stare and they looked back at him, both groups remaining silent other then the girls whimpering when the ninja's pulled out there swords and began to fan themselves out around them. The guy gritted his teeth and stood ready, drawing up his sword when suddenly a wall of bright violet light surrounded them, encircling them both before a pitch black portal opened up from underneath them and drew them in, them falling into the darkness before the portal sealed up. As soon as they began to fall Autumn had lost a hold of her want to be boyfriend and fell down into the black abyss with him close beside her. She quickly reached out for him and grasped onto the front of his shirt before she pulled herself onto his chest and quickly closed her eyes. Unconsciously the guy wrapped an arm around her protectively while they continued their descent down to wherever they were to land. After what seemed like anywhere from ten to fifteen minutes they saw a light below them, Autumn only seeing the light through her closed eyelids as they continued to fall down towards a ton of trees. The guy, otherwise known as Alex prepared for the rough landing and shielded the girl from any further harm that she may have gained back in the other forest as they began to get pummeled by the attacking tree branches. In a loud thud they hit the ground, Alex landing first with the girl on top of him. He groaned slightly as he began to sit up, the girl going up with him as she looked up at him shyly and blushed.
"Thanks," she said quietly, sitting on her knees before looking down to the ground shyly.
"No problem. It was nothing," he said, letting out another groan as he rubbed the back of his neck and head before fully standing up. The girl slowly rose too, looking around curiously before looking back up to him.
"So. Where are we?" she asked interestedly before spotting a large spot of dirt on her skirt and beginning to wipe it off.
"How am I supposed to know?" he said, looking down at her in an equal amount of curiosity before picking up his sword and looking around the strange new forest. She looked up at him and sighed softly.
"Ohh. What are we going to do?" she asked as she looked around the quickly darkening forest nervously. He sighed in frustration and looked back down at her.
"I don't know!" he said loudly, throwing his sword onto his shoulder before beginning to walk off.
"Wait! Where are you going!?" she asked as she began to run after him.
"To go find help. Someone's got to live in these woods," he said before continuing on. She looked nervously from one side of her to the other before speaking up.
"Uhm.. Can I come with you?" she asked shyly, hoping that he wasn't going to make her stay out here by herself.
"Of course, I'm not about to let you stay out here alone," he said, looking back at her from over his shoulder before continuing on.
"Ok!" she said, running after him and smiling happily.
The two of them trudged along quietly until Alex suddenly stopped and looked around.
"It's getting too dark to travel so lets stop here for the night," he said before he began cutting down wood for a fire. She yawned softly for the third time since they had started traveling when she decided to lay down, her pulling off her jacket and using it as a pillow. She laid there silently and watched him as he began to gather firewood and stack it into a pile. She continued to watch him as he pulled out his lighter and began to light the fire. As soon as it was lit and there was enough fire wood for the time being he sat down, sitting on the opposite side of the fire from her as the two watched each other through the bright crackling flames of his well lit fire. She yawned once more before slowly closing her eyes and going to sleep. He continued to watch her as she laid on the ground sleeping, her chest slowly rising and falling with each breath when he noticed her shiver. He chuckled slightly, a small grin playing over his face as he took off his jacket and put it over her. At the feel of a new warmth on her body she smiled softly and tugged it closer to her smiling face before shifting slightly and settling back down. For the remainder of the night he stared at her before yawning himself and deciding to go to sleep. The next day the sun rose as did they, them yawning sleepily as Autumn looked down to reveal the guys jacket. A faint blush crept over her checks as she looked from it to him and smiled softly, her soon getting up and handing it back to him.
"Thanks," she said, smiling up towards him, him remaining silent but smiling back slightly before stretching.
"So, what do we do now?" she asked.
"Continue on," he stated before picking up his sword and putting it back up on his shoulder, him and the girl now walking off.
