The sun seemed to rise early that day but it didn’t really seem to matter to Seth and Livia since they were just outside of where they needed to be. Having rose early they stood on top of a hill that over looked the small and mystical town of Kajia. Livia grabbed Seth’s hand as they gazed onto the town below before he kissed her cheek and urged her to go down the hill. She nodded and began down towards the town as Seth watched and slowly followed.
They soon had entered the town and of course Livia was recognized by the people pretty fast. She greeted them and smiled and waved as she made her way through town until the finally made her way out of it. Over a couple of hills and to the right stood her friend Kyoto’s house and what also stood there was her husbands dojo and her cherry tree farm. Livia could never understand why Kyoto loved looking after those trees, especially since she was the number 1 beautician in the whole east but she must do it for her father Livia guessed. Kyoto’s father loved the Sakura blossoms and that’s why he farmed the trees, well that and he met his wife under a tree like that.
Livia began to run towards the house, Seth still trailing behind as he thought about past events. When Livia reached about the second hill he began to speed up so then he could catch up to her. Livia continued her hurried pace when a tall and young looking woman stepped out of the Japanese house. She’s wearing a dark purple kimono with bright orange and yellow leafs. She soon sees Livia and waves as she waves back when she heard a voice from behind her. Livia soon stopped to see Nagano holding his blade to Seth’s throat.
“Nagano! No!” Livia yelled as she ran back over to them. The tall and muscular samurai smiled handsomely. “Livia!” he said happily when she smiled back.
“Nagano, will you please let my guardian go?” she asked when he nodded and put his sword away.
“I’m so glad that you’ve come to see us,” he said when she nodded.
“Well it’s not like I’m just going to skip by you two,” she said as they made there way towards the house.
“I can’t believe this demon is your guardian,” Nagano said as he looked back at Seth and grinned.
“I’m amazed that he didn’t pick up on you.. He’s usually really good about stuff like that,” Livia said when Nagano sighed.
“He must be loosing his touch,” he said when Livia smiled slightly. “Well maybe you could teach him since you are the number one fighter in the east,” she said when he nodded.
“Maybe so but I only teach men that are manly enough to admit that they need help and training,” he said when she nodded.
After they had reached the house they all sat down for some tea and lunch. Livia and Kyoto caught up while Nagano added some comments here and there while Seth remained silent. He thought about it for awhile and then nodded to himself.
“Mr. Nagano Koradji, I’d like to be a student under you,” he said with a small bow before Nagano bowed back.
“It would be an honor Sir Seth, guardian of our goddess Livia,” he said when Seth grinned.
“We will start tomorrow,” he said when Seth nodded.
“Well then that will give us sometime to hang out together,” Kyoto said to Livia when she smiled.
“Yeah,” she replied before they all got up and thanked Mrs. Kyoto for dinner.
“Well I purpose that we all go to bed. It’s late and we all have a big day ahead of us,” Nagano said before he escorted them to there room.
“You two must sleep together since Seth is your guardian,” he said when they just nodded and agreed.
“Very good. I’m glad there’s not many things that I have to teach you,” he said before he turned around and left them in there. They both sighed and soon went to sleep, happy that at least they wouldn’t have to worry about the whole chaos thing.
The sun seemed to rise earlier then usual but that was probably because of the fact that they were up so late. Nothing really happened much during the weeks that they were there. Livia and Kyoto went out shopping and took care of the trees while Nagano and Seth trained hard. One of the things that Livia and Kyoto loved to do the best was hide out and watch Nagano and Seth train together and then laugh when one of them screwed up. The weeks flied by when soon it was almost time for the festival. Kyoto and Livia made themselves and their men some kimono’s especially for the occasion as it began to draw in fast. The blossoms on the Sakura trees began to fall as the wind brushed them against each other softly as one day Livia stood out on the dark wooden bridge that stood over a large river that ran through her friends land. She was glad that even thought Kyoto’s and Nagano’s marriage was arranged they were still happy with each other and loved each other as if they had arranged it themselves. They seemed to compliment each other perfectly she thought when her mind began to wander to thoughts that she had of Seth. They had been together for years and being around him always made her happy and she began to wonder if he felt the same.
Livia sighed as she leaned on the old wooden railing and thought about him and the reasons that he could have for asking her out here when suddenly she heard a footstep onto the small bridge. She quickly stood up to see Seth’s handsome face staring up at her. He looked handsome in his blue and white kimono she thought as he smiled softly and continued to walk towards her. Her long raspberry colored kimono swayed softly in the wind, it giving the illusion that the small black white and navy butterflies on it were flying. Seth stopped a couple of feet in front of her and slowly got down on one knee. She looked at him curiously and began to blush as his dark eyes met hers and a small ring appeared in his hand.
“I know I haven’t been the most reliable person out there but I’m trying to make things better for both you and I.. And now that the threat is gone I wanted to ask you if.. You’d be so kind as to marry me,” he said as her eyes filled with tears. She slowly wiped them away and nodded before throwing herself down on him. She whimpered and hugged him tightly as he slowly returned the gesture.
“I love you,” he whispered softly when she nodded and slowly released him.
“I know.. I love you too,” she said before he slipped the ring onto her finger and placed a hand on her cheek. She smiled up at him shyly as her cheeks blushed a light pink. He smiled back and slowly pressed his lips to hers.
