Unraveling

I am the blanket that lies on your skin,

wrapped up in you,

tangled up in your limbs.

A single thread catches and runs

rampant

through me. I am coming undone.

I am unraveling slowly, strand by strand

into nothing,

not enough to grasp in your hands.

Unraveled am I, threads thrown into the air,

my existence denied

and You still lay there.
