It was in the middle of a decent sized colonial town, the town known as Salem Massachusetts. Men and women gathered around, some running in final preparation, but all intent on the center of the throng of men and women, and even children. There was to be a witch burning today. Three women stood accused of witchcraft, and harassment. They were tied in the middle of the gathering, to wooden poles, lumber around their feet. The town judge stood off to the side, to keep watch on the three. Wordlessly, there came three men, torches in hand, marching up the middle of the crowd, way being made for them by people shifting to the side, then filing back in when the men passed. No words needed to be uttered here.
Off to the side, the men's council stood watching. And a young woman with blonde curly hair and deep blue eyes. She above all else, looked troubled by this. Her lips were thin and white in her face, as if she was going through something that troubled her a great deal. A old man's hand was on her shoulder. Suddenly, the three men with torches thrust them into the heaps of dry lumber and hay, and the fires burst to life around the three witches. The main one, in the middle, began to shriek in some kind of tongue. Shouts of "witchcraft" or "speaking to the devil" came from the crowd.
"Anteeo advenio aegrotatio adfectus migro troika innovo aegrotatio vaticinatio volumen Hectate!" were the words that came from her mouth. The men's council suddenly looked shocked, and whatever it was, they tried to do something. It was too late however, for the three of them vanished into thin air. Later on, the old man sat in an underground basement with the young blonde woman. She looked very nervous, as he handed her a scroll.
"Use this, my daughter, for it is the last chance we'll have." He told her. The young woman's eyes filled with tears.
"But father, I don't want to leave you..." She said.
"Go now, they'll need your help. Besides, it's safest for you if you do go. They'll catch on eventually, and who knows if even the council can save you then. I will always be with you." he said.
"Very well... Father..." The young woman stood and then frowned. After one last embrace, a light began to glow around the woman, and the scroll burst into flames. She was gone.

"Wake up, New York City, It's 7 AM! It's a beautiful new day with clear blue skies! Sit back with your coffee and enjoy the morning with us!" an optimistic Radio DJ stated on a local radio station. The skyline of New York City can be seen, all of it's large towers and building's, shining in the warm sunlight. Hundreds of cars all traveling the streets trying to get to work. Parents can be seen driving and walking their kids to school before shuffling off to work themselves. The day is quite beautiful as the DJ had stated, warm with a nice breeze, clear blue skies, and the sun shining bright.
We zoom into one of the building's to see a semi-neat but still a little messy room of a young man. The room is not your typical guy's room. Things are mostly tidy and put together well, but a few things lay loose across the end of the bed, and a few things on the floor. The young man, a slim man with long blonde tinted, mushroom style hair lies in his bed asleep. His shirt off and laying on the chair next to him, his blue eyes closed and in a deep sleep. Suddenly, the alarm clock goes off, announcing that it is 7am and time to wake up. The man's arm reaches over slowly and shuts the alarm off and drudges himself out of bed, wearing a pair of long off-white pajama pants. His hair a bit of a mess, He grabs his shirt off the chair as he pulls it on and walks out the door of his bedroom.
The young man walks through the lobby of his apartment complex, now with a loose pair of khaki's on and a dress shirt. His hair is combed now, and he looks much more awake.
"Morning Eric." said the Clerk at the greeting desk in the lobby.
"Hey" said Eric, walking past and out the door. He walked out into the streets, and looked down at his watch. The time was now 7:20am he had 10 minutes left. As he looked up he was pushed back, as a woman had just walked past him and bumped him to the side. He regained his balance and looked over at the woman with a confused and slightly pissed off expression. The woman looked back at him with a look of no remorse or interest on her. She was a tall brunette with blue eyes and thin lips, wearing a woman's business dress with matching purse. She gave Eric a weird look and then turned around and went on her way. Eric stayed staring for a moment in slight dismay for how rude the woman was, but then remembered the time and headed off in the opposite direction to his destination.
"Sorry, Sorry, I'm late. I was Just..." said Eric briskly walking into the glass doors of the office, tightening his tie. His excuse was cut off though by a large burly man.
"That's the 5th time this Month Forrester. If you're late one more time, I swear I will..." said the man, but he as well was cut off, now by Eric.
"Throw me in the paper shredder and feed me to the pidgeons, I know, I know. So What'd I miss?" said Eric. The Burly Man gave Eric a disgruntled look but proceeded on with the meeting.
"We were just discussing our sales quota for this month, you seem to be top of the league." said the man. Eric had since walked over and sat down at his place in the office, next to the other staff.
"It's a gift." said Eric smiling vainly.
"Don't get cocky there, kid. There are plenty of people out there willing to step all over you and take your spot. You best hope your dumb luck doesn't run out on you, else you'll be out on the straight begging for pennies!" said the man, a bit pleased with the thought.
"Well, My "Dumb Luck" has gotten me this far, and I think I'm doing pretty well for myself. So I think I'll keep to what I'm doing, thanks" said Eric giving a cocky smile. The Man gave an angry look but shrugged it off.
"In any event, we have a new Employee with us today, just out of college and a fresh pick of the CEO. Let's all welcome our newest Sales Representative Nicholas Scott." said the man, opening the glass door and ushering in Nicholas. The staff all stood up, Eric being the last to stand up, getting up half-assed, all giving a slight round of applause for Nick. Nick Walked in and greeted everyone. He was a tall nice looking young man with brown short semi spiked hair and hazel eyes. He had a nice complexion and was wearing a business suit.
"Gonna offer him a seat James?" said Eric nonchalantly.
"That's Mr. Stevens to you!" said the man even more disgruntled now at Eric.
"You can sit over there next to Mr. Smartass." said Stevens.
"Thank you, sir." said Nick walking over and taking his seat.
"So as I was saying, We are bringing in new Sales Marketers and expanding our branch. So expect to see new updates to the office, new staff members, and new objectives to complete." said Stevens.
"Couldn't you just have told us all this in a memo?" said Eric.
"THAT'S IT! YOU'RE FIRED!" screamed out Stevens.
"No, I'm not." said Eric.
"YES YOU ARE, GET OUT!" said Stevens.
"You done yet?" said Eric giving a smile.
"YOU'RE FIRED, FIRED FIRED!!" screamed out Stevens. Nick looked petrified at the situation. Suddenly the glass door opened and a woman peaked in with a letter in her hand.
"Sorry, if I'm interrupting anything. I just got this fax for Mr. Stevens." said the young woman.
"You're not interrupting anything, Stevens is just doing his Daily Firing of Eric." said a young black woman in a red business dress.
"Oh, OK. Nothing important then." said the woman leaving the fax on the desk and leaving, closing the door behind her.

It was lunchtime, and the office was closed. They closed at about eleven every day for an hour while all the employees did their thing. A few stayed behind in the employee lunch room. Some even looked through their work, to make sure they didn't fall behind. But most of them at least went outside to do that. Especially on a nice warm day like this. Some people went home. Nicholas Scott was not one of any of them. He was sitting at his desk, with his feet up, staring at the ceiling and thinking to himself. A few minutes later he noticed that he was not alone in the office. He looked to his left, and saw Eric coming in.
"I didn't think you were the type." Nick said with a grin.
"What?" Eric asked, setting down his bag of fast food. The smell of a burger and fries wafted out of the bag. He settled himself in his chair and gave the other man a look.
"I didn't think you were the type to work on lunch break, that's all." Nick said, a childish grin on his face. He chuckled.
"Nah, work's overrated... I'm just trying to get away from all the noise. What's your excuse?" Eric asked back and took a sip of the soda in his hand.
"You're not getting off that easily... What's the deal with you and Stevens?" Eric laughed as he shoved some fries in his mouth.
"I'm the best this company has. It's my style, my charm, my, well everything." said Eric smirking vainly as he ate some more. "He hates it, and me. He can't stand me, and he wants me gone so bad. It's so funny sometimes. This company can't afford to lose their top salesman. I bring in more than anyone else. So He really can't lay a finger on me. And it annoys him. He likes being in control" said Eric giving a sarcastic grin and drinking his soda. "So what's your story?"
Nick frowned slightly and then set his feet on the ground, turning to look at him. "Well... I got this job cause my dad wanted me to...nevermind" He cleared his throat as if something was bothering him, but he continued. "I guess I was just thinking about him." Eric nodded.
"Yeah parents can be a pain sometimes." Eric said, as he began to eat his burger.
"Yeah... I guess they can." Nick said. He shrugged. "I think I'm gonna go on a walk. I'll see you when break's over, OK?"
"Yeah." Eric said, and waved to him with two fingers as Nick left.

Pan over the Skyline of New York City, and we are shown a very large tower. The bottom of the tower looks like a normal building, yet towards the middle, the walls seem to be made of glass, like one big giant window, stairs, elevators, and offices can be seen inside. And on top of the building rests what looks like another building. A smaller one. Inside that building rests a very large office. Two giant windows rest covered on the sides by large red drapes in the back of the office behind a large desk. Various statues, artwork, and other collectibles line the majority of the office, with an expensive carpet leading down the center from the doorway to the desk.
At the window behind the desk stands a tall woman. She's got black hair, with light tan skin, and brown eyes. She wears a light green dress with thin sleeves and a light jade shawl around the back of her waist, wrapped around her arms. Around her neck is a thin black strap with a circular light green ring which holds the dress up. She stares out the window as one of her assistants enters the room and approaches her.
"Mistress, we've received news that he has been seen." said the young woman.
"Where" said the dark haired woman in a very discerning voice.
"We aren't sure on the location. But, the Sayers had a vision." said the woman.
"Leave me! Come back when you have actual news I can use!" she snarled.
"Yes, mistress" said the woman in slight fear and walked out, trying to look casual, but hurrying herself as fast as she could.
"Fool, You can't hide from me forever. I'll find you all soon. And then I'll take my vengeance" said the woman, looking out the window, out at the city, beginning to cackle evilly. Suddenly her phone on her desk began to speak.
"You have a call on line 1. It's Tomas." said a male voice. The woman walked over to her desk and picked up the phone, pushing the Line 1 button to accept the call.
"What is it, this better be good." she snarled into the phone.
"I see him, he's coming out of an office building now. He's walking down the street." said Tomas.
"Are you sure it's him." she said, very intrigued.
"Definitely, what do you want me to do?" he replied back.
"Follow him, I'll have the Sayers locate you and send you some backup." she said back.
"Alright" said Tomas.
"And Tomas?" she questioned his attention.
"Yeah?" he replied.
"DON'T let him get away, or I'll have your head." she said.
"Yes Mistress." he said, hanging up.
"Elizabeth! Get in here!" shouted the woman. The young woman scurried into the office as fast as she could.
"Yes mistress?" she replied.
"Assemble a security force. Have them ready ASAP. And tell the Sayers to locate Tomas's position and track him. Send the Security there." she said.
"Yes, Mistress, right away." said the young woman, bowing respectfully, and turning around to quickly hurry out of the room to her job at hand. The black haired woman picked up the phone on her desk again and dialed a number. After a few rings, a click, indicating the other end had picked up was heard.
"He's as good as ours." said the woman into the phone, smiling.
--
Nick walked down the block. He stopped by a stand on the sidewalk outside of one of the stores. A lot of items, mostly food, was laid out in various boxes, on the stand, and in shelves on wracks. Nick eyed the various products up, feeling slightly regretful that he had decided to skip lunch. His stomach a little hungry, he grabbed a small package of a random food and gave the Clerk a dollar. He walked away, opening the package and eating the contents. He walked to the end of the block and turned into a side street. Up above in large office, Eric finished his burger, and was feeling his hand around inside the box of fries for any remaining, while sipping the last of his soda. He turned his head as something caught his eye. A small card laid on Nick's chair. Eric got up and walked over, running his hand through his hair nonchalantly as he picked up the card from the chair. It was Nick's Driver's License. Eric figured it must've fallen out of his wallet when he got up. Nick had a weird look on his face in the pic. Eric walked over to the window with the card in his hand, at his side, as he pushed the curtain to the side lightly, looking down. He saw Nick turning the block. Eric brought the card up a bit and looked at it for a moment, then turned around to head for the door.
"Come on now, this is our chance." said Tomas, motioning the guards who had recently arrived to follow him. They slowly followed onto the street Nick had turned into. They crept up behind him, a few yards away, following him. Nick continued walking down the block, with his hands in his pockets. The street was pretty empty except for a few old houses. Whether tenants lived in them or not was unknown. They didn't look very livable though. A few scattered cars lined the street, but not many. Nick continued walking, and Tomas and company continued to slowly follow him. Nick stopped and sighed, speaking in front of himself.
"How long do you plan to follow me?" he said, not looking back. Tomas stepped out into view, knowing it was useless to hide anymore.
"We've been waiting for you for a long time, Mr. Scott." Said Tomas, batting a stick up and down into one of his palms lightly, while giving a small chuckle. Nick turned around to face Tomas and about 5 other guards.
"And what exactly do you want with me?" Nick questioned.
"Oh, just the classic, come with us willingly, or we'll do it the hard way." said Tomas, beating the stick in his palm a bit harder now, and grinning. Nick eyed the remainder of the street, shifting his eyes slowly, trying not to move his head, to make his actions noticeable, or to miss any movement of the men. Nick noticed an alleyway on the side of one of the houses. He didn't know where it lead, but it seemed to be his only chance. He eyed it hesitantly then looked back at Tomas, then bolted as fast as he could for the Alleyway. "Get em!" shouted Tomas as the Guards dashed after him. Nick reached the front of the house as one of the guards leapt at him, tackling him to the floor. Nick fell with a thud, scraping his chin.
Nick tried to ignore the pain and use quick thinking. He elbowed the guard in the ribs and knocked him back off of him. He pushed his hands on the ground, lifting himself up and turning around to meet 2 other guards coming at him. He ducked between them, and pushed one into the other, both colliding with a thud. Tomas looked slightly annoyed as his hand sprang forward, beginning to glow. Nick's eyes lit up with a bit of shock, and suspense. A green light emitted from Tomas's hand as a beam flew forward, turning to a liquid as it made it's way through the air. Nick leapt to the side, falling to the floor, to avoid the green substance. Looking up he watched it hit a street lamp, melting the side of it completely. The street lamp began to tilt and then came crashing down. Nick lifted himself up as fast as he could, again leaping to avoid another collision. The Lamp slammed against the roof of a car, crushing it completely. the light of the lamp slamming against the pavement where Nick was before.
"What the hell?!" Nick panted out, out of breathe and energy.
"Why don't you fools ever listen when I tell you about the hard way?" said Tomas approaching the downed Nick. Lifting his arm forward again, A green light beginning to glow form it again, aiming at Nick.
"And why don't you fools, ever listen to the damn TV and Comics when you say that crap! There's always a second good guy that comes up at the last minute to kick your sorry ass!" said a voice. Tomas and Nick turned to see Eric standing at the end of the street, looking cocky as always.
"And who the hell are you?" said Tomas looking at him mostly unimpressed. "No time for chat! Gotta Impress the Ladies!" said Eric as he rushed at 2 guards, leaping in between them. His left leg slamming into the face of one of the guards, and his right foot doing the same to the other, both flying back to the ground with a thud. Eric landed in a crouch and then leapt forward at Tomas. Tomas Turned and fired his Green ray at Eric, who landed in front of Tomas, just narrowly avoiding the shot. He sprang up, slamming his fist into Tomas's face, sending him hunching back.
"You little!" he said, grabbing his face in pain. He shot off another green ray. Eric jumped to his side to avoid it.
"Not bad, Now try mine." said Eric as he pushed his hands together and thrust them forward, sending Tomas flying back into a car. A huge dent appearing on the side of the door now, and glass from the window breaking and falling down the side.
"What the..." said A dumb founded Nick as he watched.
"You...you're...one of them!" shouted Tomas recovering. "Fall back!" he shouted out, tumbling forward, regaining himself and running off down the street. The guards doing a similar fashion.
Eric posed in a ready stance, relaxed and let off. He looked at the still downed nick and offered him a hand. "Hey, you alright?" asked Eric.
"S-stay away from me!" said a terrified Nick who stumbled to his feet, took one last horrified look at Eric and took off down the street himself.
"Hey, Wait!" shouted Eric after him. "Damnit..." said Eric, pulling the card out of his pocket and looking at it briefly. He turned around and slowly began to walk back to the office. He rounded the corner, looking down at the ground, putting the card back in his pocket as a hand reached out and grabbed his arm, pulling him over to the side. "Wha--!?" escaped Eric's throat as he was yanked over. Eric looked up to see a tall brunette woman staring back at him. She had on a dark blue dress, and had dress shoes on. "Hey! You're that woman from before!" he shouted out, a little annoyed at the realization. "What the hell is your problem lady?" he shouted.
"Quiet." she said sternly.
"Excuse me? First you bump me and don't even say sorry, then you pull me over almost making me fall on my face, and now you tell me to shut up?" he said Annoyed.
"They'll be after you now too." she said.
"Huh?" he said confused.
"You let them bare witness to your power. They will report it back and now they'll be after both you and Nicholas." she said.
"Hey, how'd you know about..." said Eric as he was interrupted.
"You have the power of telekinesis, right?" she said.
"Who are you?" said Eric.
"Come, we don't have much time." she said, starting to walk away.
"Hey! I gotta get back to work ya know!" shouted back Eric. "Hey! Lady Come on! Hello?!" he shouted as she continued walking away. "At least tell me your name!" he said shrugging his head and running after her.
--
"YOU LET HIM GET AWAY?!" screamed the tall dark haired woman, holding Tomas in the air by the throat with one of her hands..
"We had him, he was ours." said Tomas, struggling to breathe, dangling in her grip.
"Then why isn't he here in front of me now!!" she screamed again, smacking Tomas across the face hard. A very visible bruise now emanating from his cheek. He was sent flying back across the room onto the floor, slamming hard.
"Some guy...he intervened. He had some kind of power." said Tomas weakly.
"Power? What kind of power." she said annoyed but curious.
"I don't know. He waved his arms, pushed them forward and then I was thrown back into a car." said Tomas.
"The Telekinetic. Hmm, so there's another one here already. Interesting." she said to herself.
"What?" asked Tomas getting up slowly.
"Send the Ravers, bring them BOTH to me." she said sternly.
"Yes, Mistress." said Tomas, bowing slightly and turning around. "Uhm...Jasmine?" said Tomas turning around scared. Jasmine turned her head back slowly, a very evil stare glaring back at him. "Sorry, mistress...what if that chick is with them?" said Tomas.
"You best hope you get to them before she does, or you won't see tomorrow's sunrise." said Jasmine turning back and walking towards her desk. Tomas bowed again quickly and scurried out of the room.
--
"Hey, where are we going?" said an impatient Eric, jogging a bit to catch up to the fast pace Brunette. They walked down a dark alley until the reached an old rusted door, graffiti lining all over it. She pushed it open and held it, motioning for Eric to enter. Eric slowly walked past her, walking in hesitantly, looking around, waiting for some kind of trap to spring on him. Suddenly, he was pushed from behind and stumbled forward a bit. "Yaahh!" he shouted out, trying to regain his balance.
"We don't have time to waste." said the woman walking past Eric.
"Will you tell me what the hell is going on here?" said Eric, recomposing himself and looking a bit frustrated and pissed off. The woman walked over to a beat up broken table, where a scroll laid. She picked it up, taking off the ring that confined the scroll, and opened it. She tossed it into the air and as it reached halfway to the floor it stopped, emitting a glow. "What the?" said Eric, surprised. The scroll shot out a light ray, projecting an image. An old man with a cane could be seen, wearing a robe. "What the hell is that?" asked Eric.
"Listen" said the woman.
"It is a time of great sorrow and loss and of fear and confusion. Our people have been both saved and cursed at once. For you see, we will not bear the threat anymore, but in the future, chaos will reign again. And we pray only that we are able to stop them. Many years ago, a lonely couple gave birth to 3 young girls. These girls were no ordinary children, they had special gifts. In our time, only the wisest of men can control magic through the power of the Scrolls. We were declared the protectors of man. Others who used this power were deemed the work of the devil, witches, and were destined to death. These 3 girls had powers beyond the mind's eye, bearing them to be lead to death by no fault of their own. Unguided, misshapen, and scarred from society they grew up with hate and disgust for humans. They used their powers to wreck chaos on our lands. Ages of torment went by, but finally they were captured by the wise men, and sentenced to death by burning. On the eve of their death, the 3 enchanted a spell, hurling themselves out of time and cheating their own death.
To counter this, we decided to give up our powers as Wise men, and enlist the power of the scrolls into future generations, to help combat these ferocious vixens. You are one of the descendants of Scroll Magic. You are destined to fight and defeat them. They wield powerful magic, but together, you can stop them. You have a guide, my daughter Marion. She as well has been brought to you through magic and will help you through your troubled task. Together you must stop them and save mankind. Our darkest hour is yet to come, you are tasked to make sure it does not. Good luck, young scroll bearer's." The image faded out and the scroll fell to the floor.
"What the hell?" said Eric dumbfounded.
"You must have wondered where your powers came from, did you not?" asked the girl.
"You can't be serious." said Eric looking at the girl.
"Our fate is set, we cannot change that. Both of us have to do our parts to ensure safety and the future of mankind. It can't be changed." said the girl.
"I'm no hero. I have a job, a life, I don't have time to run around fighting super villains and crap." said Eric.
"Then why did you spend all those years training your power? Training in martial arts in Korea? Why did you risk your life earlier to save Nicholas? Face it Eric, it's in your blood. You can't change your fate. It is meant to be." said the girl. Eric looked a little lost for words.
"Ahhh, this is bullshit, I don't need this." said Eric turning around and starting to walk away.
"You'll have to face it eventually Eric. You should know yourself you can't run from your fate. It will come to you if you don't go to it." said the girl. Eric stopped for a moment.
"Those guys...they're going to come after me now?" asked Eric.
"It's all been set in motion today. And will unravel over the course of the next few months. We all must play our parts. But, if you do not embrace your destiny Eric, you may be on the losing end." said the woman.
"Why me?" he asked turning back and walking towards her.
"I don't know why. I could ask the same of myself. Why did I have to leave my father's side and come here? Why am I chosen to have my own powers? Why must I guide you all and fight the good fight?" she said.
"So you're...Marion?" he asked.
"Yes." she answered.
"Ug...but what about my life?" he asked.
"Everything comes with sacrifice. You will still have your life, your friends, your job. But you must know your priorities. Your friends and job will mean nothing if the world is enslaved by their power. The road ahead will not be an easy one, but you must stand strong Eric. If you don't, you won't make it to the end." said Marion. Eric bowed his head and turned it to the side, thinking for a moment. They stood in silence briefly.
"So what am I supposed to do?" he asked.
"We need to find the others." said Marion.
"Others?" asked Eric.
"Yes, there are many of us around. All empowered with the sacred scroll Magic. Nicholas is one of them. That is why they were after him, and why they will be after you too. We need to unite them all in order to defeat their power." said Marion.
"Nick? He has powers? Then why the hell did he run from me and look at me like some kind of freak?" said Eric.
"Because he doesn't yet know any of it. He's never embraced his power. He chooses to ignore it, and not believe in it." said Marion.
"Ug, let me guess, we need to 'show him the way' right?" said Eric.
"Unfortunately, yes." said Marion. "Or else they will get him." said Marion.
"And who are 'they' exactly?" said Eric.
"They are the Triune de horrifcus, the Troika de Formido." said Marion.
"The what?" said Eric confused.
"The Trinity of Terror." said Marion.
"Lovely, so what is our gameplan?" asked Eric.
"Well as I said, we need to find Nick first." said Marion. "Though, after his attack, I doubt we'll find him back at work. Do you know where he might live?" asked Marion.
"Nope." said Eric.
"Hmmm..." said Marion, pondering what to do.
"But..." said Eric reaching into his pocket and pulling out the card, "I do have this." he said smiling, showing off Nick's Driver's Licensee.
--
Nick's sprinting came to a stop as he bent over, panting and trying to catch his breathe. "What the hell was that?" he thought to himself. He saw a bench and sat down for a moment. He was in a run down part of the city, it was full of graffiti everywhere, broken windows on buildings, boarded up houses, grates and cages lining up all the stores. He sat trying to calm down and figure out what just happened.
"Hey buddy! What do you think this is? The Holiday Inn?" said a voice. Nick looked up to see a large very tall bald fat man with ripped pair of jeans on, and a bare chest covered only by a tan vest. Standing next to him were other various punk friends of his in similar state of misdress.
"Huh?" said Nick.
"You don't just waltz into my neighborhood and park your ass on my furniture. You're gonna have to pay a fine for that violation of private property!" said the fat man snickering. His friends giggling in as well.
"I wasn't aware a public bench was private property." said Nick giving them an unimpressed look.
"Oh look boys! We got a SMARTASS! with us" said the fat man, picking Nick up by the neck and hoisting him in the air.
"Get the hell off of me!" shouted Nick struggling.
"You gonna pay the fine SMARTASS or do we need to beat it out of you?" he said.
"I ain't paying you jack you punk!" said Nick kicking the fat man's arm.
"I'LL SHOW YOU WHO'S A PUNK, PUNK!" said the fat man, as his giant fist smashed into Nick's face, sending him flying back across the street. Nick yelped out in pain. "Get him." said the fat man, the punks spreading out and approaching Nick. Nick struggled to get to his feet, moaning in pain along the way.
One of the punks came up and punched him in the stomach, another smashing a lead pipe down across the back of his head. He coughed out blood and fell to the floor. He grabbed at his head, curling in pain, letting out little shivers of pain. One of the punks ran up and kicked him in the stomach hard, sending him rolling over, in more pain. He let out more screams.
"Heh, heh. Get his wallet." said the fat man. The punks grabbed him and dragged him over, feeling in his pockets, until they found his wallet. He pulled it out and took the cash out of it and handed it to the fat man. There was about Two thousand dollars in there. "Nice, what else you got buddy?" said the Fat man, picking his foot up and smashing it down on Nick's stomach, sending his legs and head flying up, and more blood flying out of his mouth along side a loud scream.
"St...st-op" said Nick in a weak voice.
"Stop? What's that? I can't hear you!" said the fat man kicking Nick in the face, sending him flying back across the street, landing on his back. Nick held his face in pain, slowly getting up. "He just doesn't give up does he boys." said the fat man laughing.
"Le--eav--ve me...al-alone..." said Nick in a weak but very angry voice.
"Go teach smartass a lesson about orders" said the fat man counting the bills. One of the punks ran up and slammed the lead pipe right into Nick's face now, breaking his nose, blood splurting out. But, nick didn't fumble back.
"What the hell?" said the punk. Another ran up and pulled back throwing a hard punch into Nick's face, but a hand came up grabbing the fist. "Wh..what?" said the punk in shock. Nick's hand snapped the wrist back completely, breaking the entire bone in half. "AHHHHH!!" screamed out the punk, falling to the floor as Nick released his broken hand, holding his now flopping hand together, tears rolling down his eyes.
"You little!" said the punk with the pipe, reaching back and throwing it towards Nick's Face. Nick caught the pipe as well.
Nick picked the pipe up into the air and hurled it back, along with the punk, into a pile of garbage. No effort seemed to be emulating from Nick's body. The fat man looked up dumb founded and looked on at a slowly approaching Nick.
"What the hell? Who do you think you are!" said the Fat man, getting ready to slam his giant fist into Nick's Face Again. Nick slowly approached on, and his palm lurched forward into the fat man's face effortlessly, sending him flying back, his entire facial bones cracked and broken. He rolled over holding his bloodied and broken face in pain, screaming out. A black aura encircling Nicks' entire body, as he walked on. His eyes not blinking, a cold expression covering his whole face. He continued walking on, ignoring his money which scattered through the air, falling to the floor. He just walked on down the street not flinching once.

"This is it...I think?" said Eric, looking up at a large apartment building, and looking back at the card in his hand, ensuring the address was correct. Marion stood behind him. "So, what are we gonna say to him? What if he runs?" said Eric.
"We'll work that out when we get to that point." said Marion walking forward.
"Act, Don't think. Good game plan." said Eric sarcastically, following her into the building. They made it up to 5B which was supposedly Nick's Apartment. Marion knocked on the door, and they waited a moment, before she knocked again. They didn't receive any answer. Marion pressed her ear to the door, listening to hear if she heard any type of noise within the apartment to indicate anyone was home.
"Guess he didn't come home." said Eric. "Now what?" said Eric.
"Don't suppose you got a key in that pocket of yours too huh?" said Marion.
"Nope, but I always have this." said Eric. He closed his eyes and put his hand on the doorknob, turning it slowly. Inside of the doorknob, the small locks moving out of place, unlocking the door. Eric finished turning the knob and it opened. He swung the door open, motioning for Marion to go first.
"You really did train yourself well I see." said Marion impressed. Eric smiled and snickered,
"What can I say? I'm that good.". They walked into Nick's apartment, looking around. Eric fumbled around for a lightswitch and found it, turning the lights on in the dark apartment.
They both looked around the apartment, not noticing anything out of the ordinary. It seemed like a generic apartment, couch, TV, tables, kitchen, etc. Nothing really personal or too fancy. Marion walked past the living room and into another room, Eric headed for the bedroom. "So what exactly are we looking for?" shouted Eric, opening a bunch of drawers, noticing Nick's abundant collection of dress clothes.
"Anything, that can help us find out where he might be." said Marion back from the other room. Eric looked around the bedroom, not really noticing anything.
"If I were Nick, and I wanted to possibly hide something, where might I hide it..." said Eric to himself, looking around hoping Nick had some kind of hidden thing around somewhere which would tell them where he might be. "Hmm" said Eric, as he felt underneath each drawer. At the 3rd drawer he felt something underneath, he pulled it off and brought it up to view. It was a small piece of paper with some writing on it. "Think I found something." shouted Eric. Marion came in shortly after.
"What is it?" she asked.
"A phone number." said Eric.
"And how does that help us?" she asked.
"It was hidden, taped under one of the drawers in his dresser." said Eric.
"Hmmm, any Idea who's it is?" said Marion.
"No, but I'm sure I can trace it at my office." said Eric.
"You work at a sales marketing firm." she said confused.
"Yeah, but we have some of the best computers in the city. I can hop online and trace this puppy." said Eric.
"I see." said Marion.
"Did you find anything?" asked Eric.
"Not really, just a few pictures." said Marion.
"Did any of them look recent?" said Eric.
"Two of them did." said Marion.
"Look at the scenery in the back. Maybe it might have been some place he visited, and may visit often." said Eric.
"Never figured you for the quick thinking type." said Marion.
"Not many do." said Eric smiling. The two walked out of the room. As they approached the door to leave the apartment, it swung open and Nick walked in. Nick noticed them both and his eyes bugged out in shock.
"WHAT THE HELL?! WHY WON'T YOU PEOPLE LEAVE ME ALONE!!" he screamed out slamming the door closed.
"Nick! Calm down. We're not here to hurt you!" said Marion.
"I've been jumped 2 times today, and now you're in my house?!" shouted Nick, getting very furious.
"Hey, I saved your ass before buddy!" shouted Eric, back at him.
"What the hell are you?" said Nick.
"Same as you pal." said Eric.
"I'm not like you! I'm not a freak!" shouted Nick.
"Freak?! I'll show you who's a freak!" said Eric stepping forward, Marion held her arm out stopping him.
"Stop it, both of you!", "We don't have much time, please come with us Nick. I'll explain everything." said Marion.
Just then, the windows crashed open, glass flying everywhere. 5 men in black suits and what looked like oxygen masks flew in.
"What the hell?" said Nick, Marion and Eric turning around to view them.
"We got company." said Marion.
"No shit!" said Eric sarcastically.
"Who the hell are they?" said Nick.
"They work for Jasmine, they're after you and Eric." said Marion.
"What the hell do they want with me?!" shouted Nick.
"Just shut up and get out of here!" shouted Eric. Nick turned and tried to open the door, a large knife flying directly above his hand, stopping him. He turned to see the 5 black suits approaching. "Looks like there's only way out." said Eric rushing at them, flying into the air and kicking one down. 2 others rushing from behind and slamming Eric up against a wall.
"Nick! Help us!" said Marion, rushing forward and throwing one of the men off of Eric.
"What the hell? I can't fight." said Nick running forward as well trying to punch one of the men. He was side smacked and thrown to the floor.
"Get the hell off me, you goon." said Eric, chopping one of the men in the neck, making him release his grip. Two others running up at them.
"Dissaepio!" Said Marion loudly. A huge barrier appeared in front of them and the two men ran into it, flying back.
"Neat Trick." said Eric, grabbing the head of one of the guys that was holding him, bending him down, and kneeing him in the face.
"Help Nick!" shouted Marion.
"Right." said Eric, pushing the man to the side and rushing forward towards Nick. Two of the Ravers came at him, slashing with claws on their arms now. Eric ducked to avoid the first swipe, then edged back to avoid the second, but he was thinly sliced across the stomach. "Aahh!" he shouted out. Pissed off, Eric flung his hands forward, sending both of the Ravers flying back into the wall. One of the Ravers that had been knocked back by Marion's barrier got up and ran at Nick, a blade sprouting from his wrist.
"Demoror!" shouted Marion, freezing the man in place momentarily. Eric Ran forward, swinging his leg up and cracking the man across the face, sending him flying back once more. Eric reached down and helped Nick up to his feet.
"Come on, we gotta get out of here." said Eric helping Nick towards the door. Marion let off her focus and followed. Three of the Ravers getting back up now, and rushing at them to prevent them from leaving.
"Intero!" shouted Marion, as the floor in front of the Ravers began to crumble beneath them, sending them falling below. Eric swung the door open and they rushed out, Marion let off and followed out with them. All 3 of them hurrying down the hall. The other 2 Ravers jumping over the hole in the floor now and rushing out the door. Machine guns flying out of their sides now as they filled the hallway with dozens of bullets.
"Shit!" shouted Eric diving with Nick down the stairway. Marion shouted out
"Aegis!" and a soft barrier of light appeared at the bottom of the staircase, Eric and Nick landing on it, softening their fall. Marion headed down the stairway quickly, avoiding the shots herself. The 3 scuttled to their feet and ran down the next hallway trying to lose the Ravers.
"We're never gonna make it out of here." said Eric.
Marion stopped in her tracks and waved her arms, shouting "Obtego!". A beam of light filled around all 3 of them. Eric and Nick stood still with Marion, as the Ravers came down, looked around and ran right past them down the next flight of stairs.
"Concealing spell?" asked Eric. Marion let off her focus and they headed in the opposite direction. They headed out the side window onto a fire escape on the back of the building and hurried down to the ground. "Everyone OK?" Eric asked.
"What the hell is going on?" asked Nick.
"We'll explain soon, right now we need to get out of sight." said Marion.
"Can we make it to my car?" asked Eric.
"They might be out front." said Marion.
"I'll check" said Eric. Heading down the alleyway, and peaking around the front. Marion and Nick looked on at Eric from the other end. Eric didn't see the Ravers in sight. Eric looked back and motioned for both of them to come. They quickly headed down the alleyway. Just then gunfire broke out right behind them.
"They're behind us!" shouted Marion, as Nick and her ran down the alleyway. Eric already in front of his car, hopping in and getting it started.
"Hurry!" shouted Eric. Nick leaped into the car, and Marion opened the door and got in, slamming it shut. The Ravers coming out from the alleyway and opening fire on the vehicle. The 3 passengers ducking, as Eric put his foot on the gas taking off down the street. "Are they following us?" he asked.
"I don't think so." said Nick.
"Best to make some snazzy turns to lose them just in case." said Marion.
"Right" said Eric making a sharp turn down a street, and then another, continuing to push the speed limit.
--
Back at the abandoned warehouse, the projection scroll finished and fell to the floor. Nick standing their bewildered by what he had just saw. "What the hell?" he asked.
"Hey, I've been there, trust me pal. It's not easy to grasp, but, we don't really have a choice." said Eric, standing their shirtless, wrapping bandages around the cut on his stomach..
"But, I don't even have any powers!" shouted Nick.
"Yes you do Nick. Your father tried to tell you that. But, you refused to listen to him. You have denied your powers, and your destiny. That is why you cannot control them." said Marion.
"What are you talking about?' said Nick. "Why do you think your father died?" she asked.
"What?! How dare you...I..." said Nick.
"He died because they knew. And so did he. He sent you away to keep you from being found. He knew they would come for you. He wanted you to embrace your powers but you ignored him. He was killed trying to protect you from them." said Marion.
"How do you know that?!" said Nick, not believing her.
"It is my job to know." said Marion. "So you're this Marion girl right?" said Nick.
"Yes. I was sent here to unite you all and guide you." said Marion.
"There's more?" said Nick.
"Yes, of course. You and Eric are the first two of many." she said.
"Well, If I have some kind of power, what is it? And why haven't I ever seen it?" said Nick.
"You have denied it from yourself, refusing to accept it. That's why you can't see it." said Marion.
"Well, what is it?" said Nick.
"I believe you have the power of Dark Night." said Marion.
"Dark Night? What the?" asked Nick. Eric also looking a bit confused, pulling his button up shirt on over his arms and starting to button it up.
"You have darkness within you, but you, and only you have the power to control that darkness. Use it for good, not let it consume you." said Marion.
"So, what exactly is my power then?" said Nick.
"You'll have to discover that on your own. But, you must learn to accept it." said Marion.
"This is a bunch of crap." he said.
"Hey, you think I like this anymore than you? But, we have to." said Eric.
"And what exactly is your power? What the hell have you been doing all day?' said Nick.
"Telekintetic." said Eric smiling.
"You? I thought only smart people get that kind of stuff." said Nick. Eric looked at Nick, giving him a mean look.
"Eric is much more resourceful than you may think. He's accepted his power since he was a child, even before knowing of his destiny. He's trained it, and himself." Said Marion.
"Yeah, I can kick your ass." said Eric giving Nick another dirty look.
"Well, If I'm so full of dark power. I bet, I could whoop yours pretty easily." said Nick shooting Eric now a dirty look. Eric gave him a sarcastic look.
"Oh will you two stop it. We have serious things to discuss here." said Marion.
"Fine, fine. What do we do now?' said Eric.
"Hey, hey, I didn't even say I was into this whole thing yet." said Nick.
"You're still here aren't you?" said Eric.
"Eh..." said Nick. "So what's our gameplan?" he asked.
"I know who one of the trinity is. Her name is Jasmine, she runs a very well known business empire here in the city. Our job now, is to figure out who the other two are, and find any other Scroll Magic Descendants we can before they do. We must be ready before the final hour comes." said Marion.
"What's the final hour?" asked Eric.
"When is the final hour?" asked Nick.
"The end of it all. The day our world ends. I don't know when it is, but it isn't far off. Finding you both today, and Jasmine learning of both of your powers has started it. The events of the next few months will determine whether mankind survives it or not." said Marion.
"No need to get all melo-dramatic on us lady." said Nick. Marion shot nick a dirty look now.
"So how do we find these other scroll? magic kids?" said Eric.
"It won't be easy, but I do have a plan." Said Marion. "So are we all in this together then?" asked Marion.
"Well, nothing better to piss Stevens off more than by saving the world and getting all the chicks!" said Eric smirking.
"And Nick?" asked Marion.
"Well, since you two goofballs destroyed my apartment, I'm going to need some place to crash for now..." said Nick.
"Good, then we still have hope." said Marion starting to look up into the sky. "Father...I'm doing my best. I hope you're proud." she said to herself.
"
--
But, mistress, they..." said a young male secretary.
"Execute him too, with the 5 Ravers who failed me." said Jasmine.
"Yes, mistress." said Tomas, bowing. Six guards came in and grabbed the secretary dragging him out, as he kicked and screamed begging for his life.
"Fail me again, and you will join them." she said standing looking out the window.
"Yes, mistress." said Tomas behind her, bowing and leaving the room.
"You can't hide from me forever. I'll find you all soon enough. And then your powers will be mine." said Jasmine, laughing to herself. "The End is coming, and with it, the birth of a new god. All of you pathetic humans will bow in my name." said Jasmine looking out the window, down at tiny people walking the streets, going about their daily lives. "And not even the power of the scrolls can stop me." said Jasmine, starting up laughing again, louder and more maniacal. A zoomout of the window, and onto the night city, the skyline, and up to the moon.
