the marvelous rainbow
after the frightening lightning

how i am always fascinated
by each flower
how they bloom

by each cloud
how they fly
how they travel across the sky
by each star
how they sparkle
how they light up my night
i will laugh
and i am happy

and then you came
my world, my life
and you bring more than
any flower
any cloud
any star
can do
to make me smile
to make me laugh
and for once
i really know
that i am happy

and i remember
nothing
then darkness
as you
slowly take away everything
that makes me smile
how you cover
each flower
each cloud
each star
with the storm
and everything is gray

and i don't know anymore
am i happy?
