Betrayal

It seems like an eternity,
since we had promised last,
that all our feelings would remain,
as strong and as steadfast.
Long-gone hours spent not alone,
and words are heard no more.
All the things that once had truth,
will now be uncared for.
So when had words of comfort,
or hope had ever left,
your mouth or even gave a sign,
that showed you were not deaf.
Questions were unanswered,
and silentness was long,
but all I really wanna know,
is what had I done wrong?
What changed your mind and soon left our,
friendship no longer free?
What was it that had made you turn,
so far away from me?
