On The Brink of It All

I kinda find it hard to say
the things I wanna say.
Cuz everytime I try to start,
you always look away.
It doesn't really matter-
how much I try to try.
Cuz everytime I question you,
you answer with a lie.
I try so hard, to understand-
what you want from me.
But all attempts at knowing you,
you take so long to see.
Including me in your so-called life,
for you, it's such a task.
A smile, a look, a word from you,
Is all I really ask.
