Honey

Waiting,

And it’s nothing new.

She said,

“Honey got no time for you.

So shut your eyes girl

And I’ll keep you posted.

Honey’s not in love.”

Lately,

She’s been spacing out.

He said,

“Honey wastes his time on you.

So shut your eyes girl,

While I load the bullets.

Honey’s not in love.”

Baby,

In your crying crib.

She said,

“Honey; can I bite his lips?

Just shut your eyes girl;

Good thing they can’t read minds.

Honey’s not in love.”

Fooling,

She’s been laughing still.

He said,

“Honey cannot smile for you,

So shut your eyes girl;

Good shells are hard to find.

Honey’s not in love.”

Feeling,

Violent is the sky.

She said,

“Honey doesn’t go outside.

So shut your eyes girl,

And I will take your life...

Honey’s not in love.”

“Honey’s not in love.”
