This New Year

This year I vow
to be happier now
To start a new begining
Find reasons worth living

This year I will try
to no longer cry
To be happier then I was
To accept I'm not a complete flaw

This year I belong
with my friends, like all along
To keep a smile
and stand up for myself once in a while

This year I will see
that people care for me
That the world isn't all bad
and that I don't always have to be sad

This is my New Year vows
To then from now
I will keep them if I can
and in the end, I know I can win
