From where I stand no ocean sighs
No lake is there to be
But a single drop of morning dew
Still glistens from a tree

From where I stand no fire roars
No candles give birth to light
But still glow do the embers
Enough to warm the night

From where I stand no gale blows
No wind doth gaily sing
But a small breeze stirs the leaves
And lets the wind chime ring

From where I stand do this I see
And although it seems slight
A bit of nature's simplicity
Is enough to set my soul alight
