Dare I look at thy flourishing beauty,
Or turn my head around in shame?
For loving thee is not my duty,
Not my possession this beautiful dame.

But seeking desire is my tender soul,
Deprived as the wind that knows no home,
Yet it struggles forever to reach its goal,
Let feelings multiply, and bubble like foam.

Princess of my dreams, thou shall be mine,
Courage overcomes - I ready my stride.
Prepare to celebrate, dine and shine,
For fairest beauty, thy will be my bride.
