Forceful Truths

The fire that burns, is always doused,
That's why I do not worry.
I know in the end no matter,
How much I love you so,
That love will go away,
And another will catch my eye.
If I do not leave you now,
I will break your heart later.
A pretty one will come my way,
And seduce me out of your grasp.
Do you really want to sit around,
And let me hurt you like that?
So leave me now, break my heart,
It's the only way to go.
But you would never do such,
I will have to break your heart myself.
But I do not know if I can tell you,
I do not know if I should.
The uncertainty drives me wild,
I usually know just how to act,
Just how to let one go.
But you are different,
You are hard. You love me
Too darn much. I can not make
You out. You do not work like
Other guys. But I want you to,
I want you to so bad.
Things would be so much easier,
If you didn't care, if you didn't imagine,
What someday could be true.
If you never thought of those little one's,
Of those precious little yous.
I know that you will never understand,
That this is what scared me away.
The fact that you cared too much,
It doesn't make sense I know,
But it is the truth, the only truth I have.
And the truth is what will win in the end,
No matter how much I fight,
No matter how much I try,
The truth is always the most powerful,
Force in the entire entire world.
