My heart must forget,
Your love never felt.
My mind be deceived.
Of the truth long believed.
The experience so real,
The belief too profound.
The heart can imagine,
Far clearer than the mind.
Though your touch never felt,
And your kiss never tasted,
My dreams fill me up,
With a feeling so free.
They told me I dreamed,
They told me 'twas false,
But my heart and my mind,
Would believe 'til the end.
