Wishes All Alone

His eyes are blue,
Your's are green.
His beauty is apparent,
Your's is learned.
His handsomeness sweeps me away,
Just like your personality.
His flirtation tempts me greatly,
Your devotion keeps me real.
But my reaction makes me guilty,
And to you I feel it's due.
I hate that he comes near me,
And I hate that you do too.
I wish he'd never noticed me,
I wish you hadn't believed in me.
I wish that he would leave me alone,
I wish that you would forget me.
I feel such desire toward him,
And such love toward you.
I wish I could understand him,
And I wish I never would you.
I wish I could leave him,
And I could let you live in peace.
I wish that he would ignore me,
And I wish that you didn't know me.
But I do like him,
And I do love you.
I do want his company,
And I want your's too.
I'm confused that is the truth.
The first right thing I've said.
I wish I could figure things out.
But I know it's not that simple.
I pray for guidance, but I know
The answer in the end.
Will break a heart, not matter who's,
But a heart will fall in truth.
Either mine because I've lost him, or you.
Or your's because you've lost me.
Or his because he knew I never truly gave him
A chance.
