The loud music at the concert shook the floor. People jumped up and down, idolizing the musicians on stage and following their tune. At the end of the crowd, three people seemed to stand out.

The first was a young man. He was light skinned Caucasian and rubbed his brown eyes. He raised his slightly thick brows, and tapped the eye piercing over his right brow. He ran his fingers through his short hair, and pulled his fingers up to fix the field of small spikes on the top of his head. When he smiled, you could notice the few shaved hairs on his strong chin. He was wearing a black t-shirt, dark blue jeans, a pair of black and white sneakers and a blue ring with a silver skull on it.

Next to him was a young woman. She had lighter skin then the brunette man standing next to her. She blinked her eye shadow-covered emerald eyes. Her eyebrows were sculpted and thin and her hair ran along her cheek. She moved her hair to the side, away from her dark red lips. Her black hair, which faded into red tips, danced with the fall wind. Her leather choker was tight across her neck and had a blue emerald surrounded by two dolphins attached to it. She wore coal tank top, black armbands, which were covered in red and black. Her blue camouflage pants were baggy and were tucked into her black army boots.

The third member was another young man. His skin was slightly darker then the brunette man and he had dark eyes. He had tall fields of corn thorns on the top of his head and several piercings on his ears. He always had a smirk on his face and was wearing a black t-shirt, coal pants; black sneakers and he had several wristbands.

“Thank you, you guys have been great!” a musician said up on stage. The crowd applauded them and the three walked out into a field of cars. The sky turned dark and the three stood in front of a red car.

“What you think of the concert?” the brunette man asked.

“Kick ass concert.” The woman replied.

“Yup.” The brunette man replied as he and the blonde man started to enter the car.

“Hang on.” The woman replied as she reached into her pocket to pull out a disposable camera. “Let me find someone to take a picture of us.”

“I know Eve,” the blonde man said, “you just want to have my sexy picture.”

“Shut up Derek.” Eve chuckled. She turned around to a person walking in the parking lot. “Excuse me, but can you take a picture of us?”

“Sure.” The man replied.

“Great!” Eve said as she handed the man the camera. Derek stood next to the brunette man with his tongue hanging out, while Eve smiled on the other side of the man. The brunette man hardly broke a smile. “Come on Trevor, smile.”

“Nah.” Trevor replied as a flash of light blinded them all for a mere second, until they were brought back to reality.

“Who’s up for getting drunk?” Derek said, “I know I am!”

“Uh…sure.” Trevor said as the three entered the car. It raced out of the parking lot.

The street that Derek’s car drove on was cold and melded into the pink horizon. Further ahead, walking on the road were two men, prattling to each other, and heading into the forest. The trees were withered and gray, and the autumn leaves carpeted the ground. They continued to walk and saw a young woman in front of a small cave. Her auburn eyes were hidden under her short ruby hair. The young men quietly stood behind one of the withered trees, watching her pull the cigarette out of her mouth and letting the smoke leave. She scratched her leather jacket and looked up. The sky’s pink was starting to fade into darkness.

“Another night.” She said to herself and stuck the cigarette in her mouth for one last time. She pulled it out and flicked it onto a tree. She turned and walked into the cave. She took off her jacket and threw it onto the cot in the cave. She then unbuttoned her white blouse and took off her jeans until no more clothes covered her smooth skin.

“Dude,” one of the men said to the other, “She’s stripping!”

“Thank you God.” The other man said as they continued to watch her. She fell to the floor and her body was hidden behind a rock. “Dude, where’d she go?”

“Did she see us?”

“Let’s go see.” They both walked slowly towards the cave. “Where’d she go?” Pounding footsteps were heard behind them as they saw a giant gray wolf. Its eyes were gold and crimson and the wolf leapt onto one of the men. The man screamed to his death as the other man ran for his life. He cursed loudly as he frantically ran through the forest. He tripped onto the street and started to bleed from his mouth. He cursed loudly, but the sound of his friend’s gurgling screams and the howl of the wolf were much louder. He struggled to get up and was tackled down by the wolf. He screeched as the wolf opened its jaws and fed upon him.

The cool autumn breeze blew down the streets. The car sped through, leaving nothing more but leaves soaring then dancing softly down. Inside the vehicle, guitar rifts and singing filled the warm atmosphere. Sitting in the front was Derek, who held the steering wheel and watched the empty road. In the back were Trevor and Eve, who were both talking to each other and laughing.

“Hey Trevor.” Derek said.

“Yeah?” He replied.

“You guys wanna see a movie.”

“Cool.” Eve replied.

“Weren’t you the one who wanted to go drinking?”

“Well what would you guys like to do? Go drinking or see-” Derek stopped as he turned the wheel quickly. The car skidded on the road.

“Derek,” Eve asked, “What the hell?” The three got out of the car. “Holy shit.”

“Jesus,” Trevor said as he looked at the corpse, “What happened?” Derek shrugged his shoulders. “Call an ambulance.” Eve pulled out her cell phone and dialed the number.

“That’s disgusting.” Derek said.

“He looks like…”

“Like what?”

“Like he’s been eaten.”

“Eww…its like Resident Evil.”

“You can say that again.”

“Eww…its like Resident Evil.” Derek reiterated.

“Ambulance is on its way.” Eve said.

“Good.” Trevor replied. The sound of a twig snapping was heard and was followed by loud breathing of a large animal.

“What was that?”

“Get in the car.”

“Why? What is it?”

“Now!” He yelled as a loud howl was heard. “Holy shit.” The hard pounds of the wolf running echoed in the night sky. The wolf leapt from the forest and headed for Eve. He ran towards the wolf and in front of Eve. The sound of Trevor’s scream and his arm being bitten broke the silence. He fell to the floor and the wolf started gnawing his arm. Trevor pulled his right arm back and punched the wolf right in its face. He then lifted his leg, and with a powerful force, kicked the wolf off his body. Eve lifted Trevor off the floor as the wolf got up and snarled at them. Trevor pushed Eve out of the way as the wolf charged towards him. The car plowed the wolf to the ground.

“How do ya like them apples fucker!” Derek yelled. Trevor laughed softly as Eve looked down at him. Eve took off her armband and tied it around Trevor’s arm wound. Trevor started to cough up some blood. Sirens started to wail as the ambulance rushed down the street. Trevor looked forward to see the wolf get back up and scurry back into the woods. He looked back up into the teary eyes of Eve. Trevor then slowly closed his eyes.

The ambulance zoomed down the street. Its sirens filled the night sky. Inside the ambulance, Trevor was on a stretcher, Eve was holding his hand as the paramedics tried to help him. The ambulance stopped. The ambulance doors were opened and the stretcher was pulled out into the hospital. Eve followed the stretcher and was told by one of the paramedics, to wait in the waiting room. She nodded and then sat down. Eve reached for a box of tissues and wiped her tears away. Derek walked into the waiting room and saw Eve sobbing. He sat down next to Eve. Eve looked at him to see him without a smirk, noticing he was being serious for once.

“How is Trevor?” He asked.

“I don’t know.” Eve said.

“He’s going to be fine.”

“I know.” She said. I hope he is fine, she thought to herself.

“You need a ride home?” He asked.

“No that’s alright, I’ll wait a bit.”

“You’re staying here?”

“Well I’ll just take a taxi home.”

“Then I’ll just wait here. No need to spend money when you can get a free ride.”

“Alright. Thanks Derek.”

“No problem.” Derek replied. The two sat there as all their thoughts were concerning Trevor.
