Chapter 1

Love Dot Com

            "Go for it, Seiki!" whispered a girl with pigtails. Seiki looked nervously at her

friend.

          "No! I can't do it, Rin!" whispered Seiki. Rin sighed.

          "Just go up to him and say 'hi'! At least do that much!" said Rin. Seiki looked

at her friend, then turned to a boy who sat in the front of the classroom. Tousled

blue hair and mirthful azure eyes. Akarui Kouji. Seiki bit her lip as she slowly got up

from her desk.

          "Go, Seiki! You can do it!" cheered Rin as she pushed Seiki foward.

Unfortunately, Rin pushed Seiki a little too hard. Seiki fell flat on her face--in front of

Kouji and his friends!

          Shit, shit, shit, shit, SHIT! What is Kouji gonna think of me now!?

          Someone helped the blushing Seiki up.

          "Thank y-" Seiki looked up at her helper. It was Kouji!

          "A-Akarui-san! I-uh..." stuttered Seiki. Her face turned red. Kouji smiled. The

bell rang.

          "Good-bye," he said as he grabbed his things and left. Seiki just stood there,

still too embarrassed to speak or move. Rin slapped her friend's back and handed

Seiki her backpack.

          "Well...Look at it this way, Seiki! You're one step closer to Akarui Kouji!"

grinned Rin as they both got out of the classroom.

          "...And how many steps are there?" asked Seiki, sighing.

          Seiki stretched her arms after she finished the last problem. She was turning

on her computer when the phone rang.

          "Hello?"

          "Seiki! I heard what happened!" cried the voice from the other line. Seiki

sighed.

          "I was so embarrassed, Izumi! He probably thinks I'm a ditz now and who

wants to date a ditz?" said Seiki. She clicked on the internet icon on her computer.

          "Awww, Seiki! Don't say that! You're not a ditz! There are plenty of fish in the

sea, Seiki!" comforted Izumi.

          "Oh, yea? Name one fish," said Seiki as she typed in the password for her e-

mail address.

          "................."

          "See! Nobody likes me in that way. I'm too plain," sighed Seiki.

          "No, you're not, Seiki. You're pretty," said Izumi.

          "Yea, right," said Seiki sarcastically. She checked her inbox. One e-mail stood

out from the rest. It was labeled "Want the perfect boyfriend?"

          "Um, I gotta go, Izumi. Talk to you at school, tomorrow, okay?" said Seiki as

she clicked on the link.

          "Oh, okay, Seiki. Bye," said Izumi.

          "Bye-bye." They both hung up their phone.

          "'Shinzui Seiki, you are our lucky winner! You can get the man of your

dreams for free! Just click on .com, fill out a form that will only take you

seconds to finish and your perfect boyfriend will arrive a week later!'" read Seiki. It

was too good to be true. Seiki clicked on the link anyway.

          This is so retarded! Wait till I tell Rin, Izumi, and Akari!

          First, it asked her to fill out her name, address, and phone number. The next

page asked for her age. There were also options for the type of personality traits she

had. The last page asked for what kind of physical and personality traits she would

like in her "perfect boyfriend."

          "Hmmm...He has to be cute. Really cute," said Seiki, giggling.

          "He is gonna be...charismatic, gentle, and fun-loving! Oh, and sincere, too!"

added Seiki, clicking on the options. She clicked on the "finish" button and a picture

appeared. Seiki's cheeks turned pink when the whole picture appeared.

          He had long, dark red hair that hid half his face, giving him a mysterious

aura. His intense emerald eyes stared into her brown ones. He was gorgeous!

          Seiki sighed.

          "No one that handsome would ever look at me. It's a miracle Kouji spoke to

me!" mumbled Seiki. She turned off her computer and got into her bed. That night,

she dreamt of a green-eyed boy...

Shinzui Seiki

Age: 15

Eyes: Amber

Hair: Short, brown

Info: Seiki is not a very attractive girl and she knows it. She's quiet most of the time and is a rather introverted person--She has a hard time opening up to people, even her friends. She's rather clumsy sometimes and is scared of many things (If her friends were in danger, she'd probably run away ^^;;).

Watanabe Rin

Age: 15

Eyes: Yellow

Hair: Long, tied in pigtails, black

Info: Rin is Seiki's first friend and her best friend also, they through their parents, so they knew each other even before pre-school (AN:Like me and my best friend o.O). Rin is very pretty and even has a boyfriend. She could be hanging with the most popular kids in school, but chooses to stay with Seiki. She is always trying to hook up Seiki with a boy. She is also very protective of Seiki.

Futeki Izumi

Age: 15

Eyes: Orange

Hair: medium-length, blonde

Info: Izumi is the hyperactive member of the "group." She can never stand in one spot or else she starts to fidget, which probably explains why she has so many detentions (^^;;). She is very athletic and is involved in several sports.

Hitoku Akari

Age: 16

Eyes: Red

Hair: One long braid draped over one shoulder, black

Info: Akari is the most quiet and oldest of the "group." She rarely shows any emotion--even though Izumi and Rin tries so hard to get Akari to open up. Seiki is probably the only person she talks the most to. She will be showing more emotion in future chapters (^^).

Akarui Kouji

Age: 16

Eyes: Blue

Hair: Messy, blue

Info: He's smart, cute, charismatic, and every girls' dream. He has rejected every girl who has asked him out, which probably makes him more irresistible (-.-;;). He's extremely nice and is seen to be smiling most of the time. He is also Seiki's love interest since she first saw him in junior high (^^).

Author's Note:

          I hope the first chapter was interesting for you. I am not satisfied, though. I feel that I can do better...Anyways, comment if you like, I'll still update because I love to write and this is an interesting idea.
