Hope And Reason

Randomly screaming into the night.
I ponder to myself and question if you’re alright.
Your life is attached to mine.
Someday I want to make everything just fine.

Your my hope and reason.
My purpose and meaning.
Within this life that is so demeaning.
Without you I’m lost.
I’ll share your hell at any cost.

Through thick and thin,
I’ll bear it and grin.
I know exactly what your life has been.
Within my heart your essence is kept.
In my arms, upon my shoulders,
Your tears are safely wept.

When I’m with you, nothing else matters.
I’ll be here when your life starts to shatter,
You’re all I need to fill this void.
Though I am just a “yukky boy”.
