Colorful

In a world where the sky fades to gray,
In a land where the water flows white,
In a world where everyone is black inside,
I sit here crying, alone.

In a world where I am always alone,
In a land where everything is dull and gray,
In a world where nothing changes,
I sit here staring, amazed at what's before me.

In a world where I used to hide myself,
In a land where once was black,
In a world where light was gone,
I stand here staring, overcome by the beauty of color.

In a world where color and light gleam,
In a land where wildflowers grow and precious jewels glitter,
In a world where I was alone and ravaged,
I stand here smiling, saved by my angel of colors and light.
