Jumping in a pool feeling the cold water on your body and washing your cares away.
The only thing that I think is that someone will find me before its too late.
I go down to the bottom and hold onto the vent of the thirteen-foot pool.
My eyes are open, looking at my surroundings.
I'm starting to gasp for air.
I wonder how long I've been down here, I thought to myself.
I lost count at around two minutes.
Wow I'm still here.
But just barely.
I feel myself going lightheaded.
I thought I was about to float up to the surface so I took the string out of my pants,
Tied it to the vent then around my wrist.
Being down here has made me realize just how much my life sucks.
How much I don't want to be alive.
I felt all the leftover air blow out of my lungs and out my mouth.
I saw my air bubble go about two feet above my head then pop.
I slowly closed my eyes,
And gave a sigh of relief.
It was done.
