It's the pool that never freezes
Here the faces never change
It's the curse of the immortal
It's the only truthful way

We've been around for centuries
And what have we to show?
We'll be alive forever
And there's nowhere left to go

By the pool that never freezes
We will gather every year
To reflect upon our promises
To wipe away our tears

Another little year has passed
Another stretch of time
Reminding us that humans all
Must one day say goodbye

And we must watch them as they go
We'll turn our souls away
Forever they will break our hearts
With time, they fade away

It's the pool that never freezes
We have made this place our own
For the ocean never changes
We are firmly set in stone.
